The star Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali starred with the ball as Karachi Kings defeated Quetta Gladiators by 56 runs in the eighth game of the ongoing Pakistan Super League 2025 (PSL 2025). The game was played at the National Stadium in Karachi on April 18.
Meanwhile, Hasan Ali also attracted the headlines for his unexpected celebration after dismissing Quetta Gladiators spinner Abrar Ahmed in the 19th over of the second innings. The star pacer mimicked the send-off celebration of Abrar Ahmed after dismissing him in a ‘clean bowled’ dismissal.

Speaking of the action of the game between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators, the hosts’ skipper, David Warner, won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, the Kings posted 175 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Star number three batter James Vince scored 70 runs off 47 balls, with six fours and a six. Besides, skipper David Warner and wicketkeeper-batter Tim Seifert also contributed with the knocks of 31 and 27 runs, respectively.
Mohammad Amir and Ali Majid scalped 2 wickets each, alongside a wicket each picked by Sean Abbott, Abrar Ahmed, and Saud Shakeel.

While chasing the target, Saud Shakeel’s Quetta Gladiators couldn’t get the better of the Karachi Kings’ bowling attack led by the star pacer Hasan Ali.
The Kings’ bowling attack restricted the Gladiators to a score of just 119 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the entire 20 overs.
Hasan Ali claimed 3 wickets at just 27 runs in his 4 overs, alongside 2 wickets each picked by Mohammad Nabi and Abbas Afridi. Mir Hamza and Aamer Jamal also bagged a wicket each to help their side win the game by 56 runs.
