Hardik Pandya and Sai Kishore were involved in a heated staring face-off during the Gujarat Titans vs Mumbai Indians clash in the Indian Premier League 20205. Sai Kishore continued to walk down, staring at Hardik after collecting the ball off his own bowling. Pandya, meanwhile, was seen waving him to go back to bowl.

The incident occurred in the 15th over of the second innings. Hardik also walked towards him in anger after the bowler started to stare at him. The MI skipper eventually backed down as the on-field umpire approached them. A video of the incident has been doing the rounds on the internet.

Earlier in the game, the Gujarat Titans got off to a great start after being put in to bat first thanks to explosive batting from Sai Sudharshan and Shubman Gill. But after the powerplay, the boundaries dried up, and Gill lost his wicket. Jos Buttler played a good knock after that, but Sudarshan was the star of the night, scoring his second consecutive half-century.

MI bowlers then did well in the second half of the innings to keep the score just under 200. This was not the easiest wicket to bat on, and the match could have gone anywhere from here.

In the second innings, Mohammed Siraj then bowled a brilliant first spell to send back openers Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickleton back to the dressing room. He was very impressive and bowled tight lines in the power play, putting MI on the back foot.

Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav then built a good partnership, but they were a little slow in their approach. The pressure of run-rate kept mounting on them, and the match seemed to slip away from them. Eventually, the target was out of their reach and they lost the match by 36 runs.
