His known played a vital role in helping GT post a big total of 196 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Alongside his important knock, what attracted the eyeballs was Jos Buttler's remarkable boundary that he managed to hit off a ‘waited for the ages’ slower delivery bowled by young MI pacer Satyanarayana Raju. The moment came on the second ball of the 13th over when Raju bowled an extremely slower bumper which made Buttler wait for so long. Eventually, Buttler’s wait paid off as he executed a brilliant boundary off this unexpected delivery.
