Virat Kohli's fan following knows no age or profession. The cricket world treats highly of him and hence, he is loved by all. Ahead of the 2nd Test match, when Kohli was walking towards the pitch before the toss, one ground staff ran towards him and touched his feet to show his respect. The staff's gesture was heartwarming, but Kohli became a bit awkward.

The player asked him not to and kept on walking towards the pitch with his bat. Kohli was wearing his practice jersey when the incident took place. The video went viral on social media, and the fans were amazed at his fan-following across the nation.

Kohli isn't having a good series against Bangladesh but he's a brilliant match player and will be looking forward to having a great comeback. After the series, India will play against New Zealand and then travel to Australia to play the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024. All the Test matches are equally important as they fall under the World Test Cycle (WTC) 2025 cycle. So, the teams have to be extra careful and avoid unforced errors during the series.

I don’t want that to happen: Yuvraj Singh

In a podcast, former India player Yuvraj Singh was asked about playing, selling, or benching Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli. Singh played it smart and answered that he would play Rohit but didn't mention anything about Virat and Dhoni to avoid making it to the headlines. He was quite specific about his choices as Rohit is one of the best batters in the sport and deserves to play.

"I would play Rohit Sharma as he is one of the best batters in T20 cricket and bats aggressively. Rohit is a quality captain and has been successful as a leader. I would bench myself as naming one between Virat and Dhoni would be in the headlines. I don’t want that to happen," said Yuvraj Singh.
