Veteran Australian cricket star Glenn Maxwell stunned the fans and experts alike with his game awareness on Wednesday. The 36-year-old pulled off probably the best catch of the Big Bash League 2024 season during the Melbourne Stars vs Brisbane Heat game. In the massive New Year’s Day that was played at the Gabba, Maxwell stole the headlines.
The incident happened in the first ball of the 17th over with Dan Lawrence bowling to Will Prestwidge. The English star bowled a tempting ball that the left-handed batter tried to hit out of the park for a six. Maxwell pawed the ball back into play with both his feet in the air.
