The Major League Cricket (MLC) is gaining a lot of public attraction in the United States, where fans travel to the stadiums to watch their favourite players and the teams. After the 11th game of the MLC, Australia's star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell won the Player of the Match award for his magnificent bowling figures of 3/15 against the Los Angeles Knight Riders. On winning the POTM award, Maxwell made a heartwarming gesture that won the hearts of the fans.

He went to the crowd and gave away his award to his fans. He also stayed around for a longer time and signed the jerseys and bats of his fans.

Thanks to Saurabh Netravalkar's four wickets and Maxwell's three wickets, Washington Freedom won the match by eight wickets. However, Maxwell won the POTM award because he was economical, while Saurabh was hit for 35 runs in four overs.

Slightly different conditions to the IPL: Glenn Maxwell

Washington Freedom's one of the best players, Glenn Maxwell claimed, is happy that he's not getting a chance to bat. He's all in favour of giving his body a rest rather than just going out and batting every single day. While he took three wickets, the star all-rounder spoke about the difference in conditions between MLC and IPL.

"It's been amazing how we controlled the bowling innings by taking consistent wickets. Slightly different conditions to the IPL, felt I was able to put the ball on a T in the IPL. Was a good day and nice to go a bit clear at the top as well. I'm absolutely loving not having a bat, nice to give the body a bit of a break," said Glenn Maxwell at the post-match presentation.
