For the last couple of years, a lot of media headlines, be it in the TV, newspapers or digital media have been focused on Gautam Gambhir’s hard stance while talking about the 2011 ODI World Cup final. Some of the experts and fans assumed that Gambhir is a critic of MS Dhoni and he has some grudges with the latter.
But eventually, as the saying goes, ‘all is well that ends well,’ something similar happened last night after the 22nd match of the ongoing IPL 2024 between CSK and KKR. Social media and fans were amazed when KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir went on to hug the former CSK skipper after the Men in Yellow won the game against KKR by 7 wickets.
The video of this special moment went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by Jio Cinema, the official digital broadcaster of the tournament.
