Kerala's star batter Sachin Baby has smashed an unbeaten century in the ongoing Kerala Cricket League (KCL) 2024. He became the first batter to score a century in the tournament. The former RCB batter channelled all his energy into the game and played a great knock, which will be etched in the history of the tournament. He scored 105 runs off 50 balls. Moreover, in just 16 balls, he completed his century, which is a huge achievement.ย 

His knock helped his team, Aries Kollam Sailors, to a thrilling seven-wicket victory over Kochi Blue Tigers, chasing down a target of 159 with eight balls to spare. The pressure kept on increasing for the Sailors as wickets kept falling from one end. But Sachin saved the game for them and helped them gain victory.ย 

The magical performance included five boundaries and eight huge sixes, which kept on increasing the audience's excitement and thrill. He turned the game after scoring his half-century and smashed four consecutive sixes off Manu Krishna. That was the interesting turning point of the match.ย 

Ishan Kishan slams century in Duleep Trophy 2024

Star cricketer Ishan Kishan slams a century against Team India B in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024. He scored 111 runs off 126 balls including 14 boundaries and three huge sixes. Mukesh Kumar dismissed him after playing a wonderful innings. It was a surprise visit from Ishan's side as nobody was aware of his presence. After scoring a century in the Buchi Babu Tournament, Ishan went on to score a century in the Duleep Trophy which is an added advantage for him.

Now, he'll be under the Board's radar and can make it to the Indian team with his consistent performance. Moreover, skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad also came back to bat and scored 46 runs off 50 balls including seven boundaries and two sixes. Day 1 ended, and it will resume tomorrow again with Gaikwad and Manav Suttar on the crease.ย
