The ongoing edition of the SA20 2025 is attracting the eyeballs of the global cricketing fraternity for some amazing performances and thrilling matches in the tournament. In the same line of events, the fans coming to witness SA20 matches are also making it to the news headlines for their hilarious antics out of the boundary line in the spectators' area.
A similar incident happened during the tournament’s seventh game between Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Pretoria Capitals. Two fans were seen executing a hilarious strategy to grab an interesting catch to win the whopping prize of 2 million.
The moment came in the 15th over of the first innings, when SEC had scored 88 runs for the loss of 6 wickets, having Marco Jansen and Simon Harmer there in the middle. At the same time, two fans were noticed getting involved in an amazing strategy to bag a 2-million catch; a fan was seen lifting his fellow man to help him take the catch.
The commentators were also heard discussing the legality of this catch took by two fans together in a joint effort.

Speaking of the action of the game between Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Pretoria Capitals at the SuperSport Park in Centurion, the Capitals won the toss and asked the Sunrisers to bat first. Batting first, SEC had a horrific start as they lost their 6 wickets just at the score of 50 runs in 12 overs. But then came the gritty knock of 51 runs off 35 balls played by star all-rounder Marco Jansen.
Eventually, SEC got bundled out at the score of just 113 runs in 19.4 overs. Eathan Bosch, James Neesham, and Senuran Muthusamy scalped 2 wickets each for the Capitals, alongside 1 and 3 wickets picked by Daryn Dupavillon and Migael Pretorius.
While chasing the target, Pretoria Capitals comfortably chased down the target in just 16 overs, scoring 115 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Marques Ackerman played a match-winning and unbeaten knock of 39 runs off 30 balls, with two fours and two sixes.
