Delhi Capitals face bumpy ride in quest to reach IPL playoffs

With 12 points from 10 games, the task for the Delhi Capitals gets more difficult if they have to make it to the playoffs. Delhi face challenging games against sides like Hyderabad, Punjab, Gujarat, and Mumbai in their final few matches of the season. DC has to win at least three games to guarantee itself a spot in the top four.

Meanwhile, KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane praised Sunil Narine for his leadership skills against DC. The veteran Indian batter walked off the field after sustaining an injury to his finger. Sunil Narine rang in the changes on the field and also played a key role with the ball to help KKR win the game.

Rahane said, “When Sunil came into bowl and picked up two wickets, and when they lost three wickets in the middle, I thought that was the game for us. He's been a champion bowler for this franchise. A match-winner. As a captain, good to have him and Varun Chakravarthy”
