The Pakistan cricket team ended their tour of New Zealand with a loss in the final ODI on Saturday. At the end of the game, news came out that Pakistan cricketer Khushdil Shah was reportedly involved in a massive fight with a few fans in the stands. Pictures emerged showing Shah being pulled back by security to stop the fracas. Now a new video has emerged where it can be seen that a fan is using abusive language towards the Pakistani team and its players.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) put out a statement that read, “The Pakistan cricket team management has strongly condemned the abusive language directed at national players by foreign spectators. During the match today, foreign spectators hurled inappropriate remarks at cricketers present on the field." This is not the first time a Pakistani player has been involved in a fight with a fan. Last year, Haris Rauf nearly got into fisticuffs with a fan after his team was knocked out of the T20 World Cup in the USA.
The statement from PCB also read, “When anti-Pakistan slogans emerged, cricketer Khushdil Shah stepped in and urged the spectators to refrain. In response, Afghan spectators escalated the situation by using further inappropriate language in Pashto. Following the Pakistani team's complaint, stadium officials intervened and ejected the two disruptive spectators,.

New Zealand complete ODI series whitewash
In the final game of the series, it was New Zealand who batted first and scored 264 for the loss of eight wickets from their 50 overs. Michael Bracewell top-scored with 58 runs, while opener Rhys Mariu scored 58 off 61 balls. In reply, Pakistan was all out for 221, with Babar Azam top scoring with 50 off 58 balls.
Skipper Mohammad Rizwan sounded downcast at the end of the game as he said, “Disappointing series for us. We know that these are difficult conditions for us here but they played in Pakistan really well. They played against us in Pakistan. There are professionals in all departments. We need to improve; that's it."
Kiwi skipper Michael Bracewell said, “When you add a few new guys into the mix, you always want to do well. It is pleasing to win 3-0, as it is to see guys coming in and performing and doing all they are asked off and playing the way that we want to play. As a Black Caps unit, we have a clear style about how we want to play and the little things that could probably go unnoticed to a lot of people.”
