I would've loved to finish it off for the team: Charles Johnson
The POTM Charles Johnson was elated as his team won the game, thanks to his brilliant knock along with skipper Faf du Plessis. While talking at the presentation ceremony, he mentioned that he wanted to finish the match which would have been the Cherry on the Cake. However, he was still happy with the team's performance and the way they pulled off this win. With this win, they have moved to third place with three wins in five matches.
"It was a very good innings but I would've loved to finish it off for the team. Opening with Faf has always been good. We feed off of each other. It's lovely, the supporters came out in numbers and it shows how wonderful they are," said Charles Johnson in the post-match presentation.
