WATCH: Fabian Allen juggles to take blinder to dismiss Nicholas Pooran on 1st ball in CPL 2024

Antigua and Barbuda Falcons won the nail-biting match against the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) by six runs in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024.

West Indies all-rounder Fabian Allen took over the entire game with the bat and the ball against the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024. With the bat, he scored an unbeaten 25 runs off 11 balls, including two boundaries and one six, and with the ball, he claimed three wickets. Amidst this mesmerizing performance, he also took a blinder to dismiss Nicholas Pooran on the very first ball. 

The catch wasn't clean enough as he juggled the first time since he was bowling, and the ball came straight to him in no time. However, he had his eyes on the ball and got hold of it in the end. It was a magnificent effort by the bowler, and he was rewarded for it.

Fabian Allen was awarded the Player of the Match for his all-round performance in the game. Antigua and Barbuda Falcons scored 176 runs in the first innings as Imad Wasim scored 46 runs off 29 balls, including four boundaries and two sixes. It was a nail-biting match as the Falcons won the game by six runs.

Allen was elated after winning the match and getting the POTM award. His performance was amazing throughout the game, and he spoke about his role in the team in the post-match presentation. They were quite happy with the team's performance and enjoyed the electrifying atmosphere as well. 

"Oh my god, we were searching for that win and grateful we got it tonight. Lot of people want me to bat higher. But wherever the team wants me to bat, I'll bat there. The conditions suited our play. Today we backed our strength and bowled in the right areas. We were searching for 180 (with the bat). Grateful for the crowd. Happy they came out tonight," said Fabian Allen in the post-match presentation.
