Akash Deep made an outstanding comeback in Test cricket as he clinched two back-to-back wickets against Bangladesh in the 1st Test match. In his second over, Deep went on to dismiss Zakir Hasan, who was playing on 3 runs off 22 balls. Akash uprooted Hasan's middle stump as there was a gap between the bat and the pad, and the ball found its way up to the stumps.

After Hasan's wicket, Akash dismissed Mominul Haque in the very next ball. It was another ball where the batter wasn't careful as the ball went inside and hit the pad first before hitting the stumps. The confidence level of the visitors might have dripped as the bowling attack is just fabulous. However, the same happened with India but the hosts went on to hit 300+ runs.

Until lunch, Bangladesh's score was 26-3, with skipper Shanto and Mushfiqur Rahim batting. Rahim scored a brilliant century against Pakistan, saving Bangladesh from losing the match. He has the chance to do that again, along with the skipper.

The way I was leaving the ball, it was quite good for me: Jaiswal

After scoring 56 runs in the first innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal looked elated and focused at the same time. The player talked about his batting and his role in the team as of now. He knows his game really well and was happy with his performance. He also mentioned that he liked the way he left the balls without taking much pressure on himself.

"I wouldn't say that difficult, but I was just thinking of my plan and thinking how to bat on that time on that wicket. I was trying to enjoy the wicket and enjoy the game. The way I was leaving the ball, it was quite good for me.  I was thinking about where I can score if I have the opportunities and I was just going for it. It's all about my mindset, how I want to play and what my team needs," said Jaiswal.
