Axar Patel’s Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru are set to take on each other in the 46th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). The game will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday, April 27. It will be an interesting clash for both teams to gain the top spot in the tournament’s points table.
Meanwhile, what attracted the headlines was the hilarious interaction of DC skipper Axar Patel with RCB mentor Dinesh Karthik a day ahead of the game between DC and RCB. It all happened when Axar Patel was practising in the nets, and he stopped his practice, especially to meet Dinesh Karthik.
“DK bhai se hello toh bolunga na (I will have to say ‘hello’ to DK bhai),” said Axar laughingly to his teammates while meeting Dinesh Karthik, to which the latter hilariously replied, “Eh bhai, go be a captain, tu khel na, Mazak mat kar, isiliye main nets ke paas nahin aata (Eh brother, go be a captain, you just play, don’t joke, that’s why I don’t come near the nets).”
This hilarious video of Axar Patel stopping his net practice just to meet Dinesh Karthik also went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by Delhi Capitals on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).
