Virat Kohli's early dismissal in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2025 game against the Railways was quite disappointing and embarrassing at the same time. The 36-year-old batter was dismissed for just six runs off 15 balls by Himanshu Sangwan, who celebrated like never before. Kohli couldn't read the inswinger from the bowler and went to play the drive but ended up losing his wicket. The ball went in between the bat and the pad and dismantled the stumps, leaving the batter frustrated.

However, the crowd that Virat Kohli had pulled off on the first day of the game went home disappointed soon after the batter got out. It was a heartbreaking moment for the fans who travelled from long distances to watch their favourite batter play in the Ranji Trophy after 12 years.

Railways bowler Himanshu Sangwan came into the limelight in 2019, when he claimed a fifer against Mumbai, dismissing great players like Ajinkya Rahane and Prithvi Shaw. Since then, the bowler has worked hard to improve his skills and has been consistent with his performance.

He played a key role in helping the Railways clinch victory against Mumbai for the first time in the history of the Ranji Trophy tournament. Interestingly, Sangwan's story is similar to the former India legendary cricketer MS Dhoni. Just like Dhoni, the bowler worked as a ticket collector at New Delhi Railway Station before pursuing cricket from the Railways.

Ayush Badoni rescues Delhi after Virat Kohli's early dismissal

Captain Ayush Badoni scores a cracking half-century in the ongoing Ranji Trophy game against Railways after Virat Kohli was dismissed on just six runs. Badoni hit seven boundaries and one six to reach 50 runs off 34 balls. His approach towards the batting was quite positive as he came in and started hitting the ball.

Badoni's innings speak volumes about the kind of player he is and how he has transformed himself into a leader as well. Delhi have scored 164 runs and lost four wickets, as we write. Sumit Mathur, on the other hand, has scored 26 runs off 41 balls, including four boundaries.
