Former Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma was seen enjoying himself during the Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) game. The 36-year-old was seen teasing RCB wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik while the latter was batting.
Just as soon as Dinesh Karthik came to the crease, Rohit Sharma was giving a playful chirp. “Shabhas DK, World Cup khelna hai abhi” was heard on the stump mic as Rohit Sharma seemed to be smiling after that.

The playful jibe seemed to have backfired as Dinesh Karthik tore the Mumbai Indians bowling unit. The veteran star from RCB took on 23 balls to score an unbeaten 53 runs to take his team to 196 runs for the loss of 8 wickets from 20 overs.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru batters finally find form
Virat Kohli was out early as he was caught behind the wicket by Ishan Kishan for 3 runs off Jasprit Bumrah. After the fall of Will Jacks for 8 runs, it was time for Rajat Patidar to shine with the bat.
The 30-year-old took on the Mumbai Indians bowlers to reach his 50 off 25 balls. The mark was reached when Patidar hit Gerald Coetzee for two successive sixes. The South African batter had his revenge when his well-directed snorter got the wicket of Rajat Patidar.
Shreyas Gopal playing his first game of the season got the big wicket of Glenn Maxwell. Jasprit Bumrah got his 2nd wicket when he dismissed Faf du Plessis for 61. The very next ball Mahipal Lomror got a toe-crushing Yorker and was given out LBW.
Jasprit Bumrah bowled his final over in the 19th over and got two more wickets. Saurav Chauhan was out for 9 and Vijaykumar Vyshak was out next ball. This gave the Mumbai Indians pacer his second-ever fifer in IPL as ended his day at 5/21 from 4 overs.
Dinesh Karthik kept the score ticking with boundaries and sixes to ensure that RCB ended the innings on a high. The 38-year-old played a lot of innovative shots to frustrate Hardik Pandya and the rest of the Mumbai Indians bowlers.
Ishan Kishan was out for 69 runs from just 34 balls with 7 fours and 5 sixes after adding 101 runs for the opening wicket. The century was reached inside the 9th over to make sure that RCB’s miserable day continued with the ball.
