Tom Abell and Dewald Brevis: (X)
Dewald Brevis has been by far one of the best fielders in the ongoing SA20 2025 tournament. Once again, MI Cape Town's Brewis took a one-handed blinder to dismiss Tom Abell in the 25th game against Sunrisers Eastern Cape. It was a memorable catch as the player lost his balance but managed to take the catch in the end.
In the last ball of the fourth over, Corbin Bosch bowled in a short delivery which angled in. The batter thought of pulling the ball and got a massive top edge. Brevis looked like he missed it but he quite gracefully grabbed the catch. He came forward by mistake but kept his eyes on the ball and followed it until he laid his hands on it. Abell was dismissed on just one run.

MI Cape Town captain Rashid Khan won the toss and chose to bowl first. He would be happy with the way his team bowled in the first innings, dismissing SEC in just 107 runs. It was Corbin Bosch's day as he claimed four wickets.
Sunrisers Eastern Cape's flop show with the bat continues
In the ongoing SA20 2025 tournament, defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape started on a disappointing note, losing three matches in a row. However, they made a solid comeback in the tournament, by winning the next four games consecutively. It was a collective effort from the entire team to make sure that qualification is on the cards.
They lost the last game against the Joburg Super Kings and from the looks of it, they might lose this game against MI as well. Except for David Bedingham, none of the other batters played well, which is why the team was all out on 107 runs. He scored 45 runs off 45 balls, including five boundaries.
