The thing ended before even starting properly for the star in-form DC batter Karun Nair against the Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing 32nd game of IPL 2025. Nair was expected to repeat his batting heroics in the same way he smashed a blistering comeback half-century against MI in the previous game.

But things didn’t go well in Nair’s favour this time, and he fell for a 3-ball in an unexpected run-out while returning to the non-striker’s from the half of the pitch, which he covered in an attempt to complete a run. The RR pacer Sandeep Sharma made no mistake in hitting the ball at the stumps immediately after collecting it from the fielder.
