Chennai Super Kings (CSK) prime spinner Ravindra Jadeja was caught on camera while practising for the 59th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) against the Gujarat Titans (GT). Jadeja was seen imitating his IPL 2023 finals' winning shot during the practice session. It was an epic performance last year where he scored 10 runs in the last two balls and helped CSK clinch victory over the GT who were the defending champions last year.

That moment was quite special for all the CSK fans as Jadeja directly went running to MS Dhoni and he lifted him with on his shoulders. Jadeja's imitating video went viral on social media as fans relived the moment once again.

This time too, CSK will look to repeat the same performance from last year and defend their title as this might be MS Dhoni's last year playing in the IPL. Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and the team are trying their level best to give the kind of farewell Dhoni deserves during this IPL season.

'My role is to build a partnership if we lose early wickets...'

After winning the much-needed match against PBSK, Ravindra Jadeja was awarded the Player of the Match award for his all-round performance. Later on, he talked about his role in the batting order as he comes at No. 4 when CSK's wickets fall abruptly.

"Always looks like a flat wicket in powerplay. But as the ball gets older, it doesn't come on very well. When you're playing at a new venue, you don't have an idea of how the pitch will be. Felt we were 15-20 short. My role is to build a partnership if we lose early wickets," said Ravindra Jadeja at the post-match presentation.
