The five-time champions Chennai Super Kings have been through a poor run of form in the ongoing IPL 2025 so far. They are struggling at the bottom of the tournament’s points table, with only two wins and five defeats in their seven games in the tournament. MS Dhoni-led side will now face the arch-rivals Mumbai Indians in the game of their campaign.
A few days ahead of this high-octane and must-win game, a few CSK stars, including skipper MS Dhoni, were seen enjoying some lighter moments off the cricketing field. Besides Dhoni, the young pacer Matheesha Pathirana, all-rounders Shivam Dube and Sam Curran, happened to be a part of an interesting ‘lip-reading game’ at an event.
In this lip-reading game, all the participating players were given noise-cancelling headphones. The game started with an old Bollywood dialogue from the famous Indian movie Mr. India. The dialogue was “Mogambo khush hua”, which CSK players tried to decode in this lip-reading game.
However, none of the CSK stars could achieve success in this and failed to crack this famous Bollywood phrase in this lip-reading contest.
The video of CSK players alongside MS Dhoni participating in this hilarious lip-reading game also went viral on social media as soon as the Chennai Super Kings shared it on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).
Here’s the video:

Speaking of CSK’s journey in IPL 2025 so far, their campaign started with a 4-wicket win against the Mumbai Indians in their campaign opener. But then came a serious downfall in their performance, and the yellow outfits faced five consecutive defeats in the next five games before ending this losing streak with a 5-wicket win against the Lucknow Super Giants in the last game.
Now, MS Dhoni’s men will take on the Hardik Pandya-led MI in the 38th match of the tournament on Sunday, April 20, at 7:30 PM (IST). The game will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
