On day 2 of the second Test match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, there was comedy on display as three fielders dropped an easy catch of one batter. While fielding at the slips skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto at 1st slip, Shahadat Hossain Dipu at 2nd slip and Zakir Hasan at 3rd slip dropped the catch of Prabhath Jayasuriya. The batter got lucky as the ball went past his bat straight to the fielders.

While Shanto strategically kept slips for Jayasuriya hoping he'd play the ball, the fielders' carelessness cost them a wicket. Post-dropping the catch, players confused looked at each other and smiled. Moreover, the video of this incident went viral on social media and fans were amazed after watching it.

Sri Lanka played brilliantly in both the Test matches against Bangladesh. While they won the first Test, they are on the verge of winning the second Test as well. Bangladesh's poor performance in Tests continues as they are getting defeated on their home ground. Moreover, it's high time for the Bangladesh Board to make certain changes in favour of the team to improve their performance.

Kamindu Mendis' incredible batting during the series

Kamindu Mendis is having a dream debut in Test cricket as in two matches he has scored 327 runs at an average of 109. In his debut Test match, he scored two back-to-back centuries in two consecutive innings. Mendis' effortless and fearless batting was eye-pleasing to watch and the audience thoroughly enjoyed it.

Moreover, in the second Test match, he scored 93 runs in the first innings where he batted beautifully and missed a well-deserved century by seven runs. While playing in Bangladesh, he played both matches extremely well and will hope to continue his form to the upcoming series.
