The entire cricketing world is eagerly waiting for the highly-anticipated upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024, which is scheduled to be played in the USA and West Indies next month. The prestigious cricket biennial is less than a month away from now. Most of the teams have already announced their squad for the tournament including the inaugural champions of the tournament, India.

The men in blue will be playing under the captaincy of regular skipper Rohit Sharma. Meanwhile, the veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has come up with a very strong message for Rohit Sharma’s men for the upcoming 9th edition of the T20 World Cup.

The video of Amitabh Bachchan’s message to Team India has been shared by Star Sports from their official X handle (formerly Twitter). The video also started making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by Star Sports on X.

Notably, the men in blue will start their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign with the first match against Ireland on June 5, 2024, at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Four days after their first match, Rohit Sharma’s men will take on the arch-rivals Pakistan in the second league match on June 9, 2024, at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

The Indian squad will be featuring 5 players who will be making their first-ever appearance in the T20 World Cup 2024, including the likes of young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and star all-rounder Shivam Dube.
