Mumbai Indians' former captain Rohit Sharma was seen having a breakdown after another failure in the match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Even though Mumbai Indians won the game by seven wickets thanks to Suryakumar Yadav's century, Rohit could only manage to score four runs off five balls. Along with him, Ishan Kishan is also having a tough time in the tournament. 

Only against CSK, Rohit Sharma performed really well and scored 105 runs while the entire batting line-up shattered like playing cards. Apart from this, in his next five matches, he could only score 34 runs, which included four single-digit scores.

Moreover, in the match against SRH in Mumbai, Rohit was dismissed by Pat Cummins as he bowled a length delivery. He looked to play it off his hips and flick it over square. However, he hurried into the shot and ended up getting a leading edge, sending the ball high into the sky. It was wicketkeeper Heinrich Klaasen who took the catch. 

'I just enjoyed my time...' - Suryakumar Yadav at the post-match presentation

After scoring a brilliant century in the match against SRH, Suryakumar Yadav was given the Player of the Match award. He played amazingly and talked about his game during the presentation. He seemed happy as he got to score in front of the home ground and the crowd was happy too.

" I feel it was the need of the hour for me. I went out to bat, needed someone to bat till the end. I just enjoyed my time. It's from the Mumbai School of Arts, have played a lot of cricket at Wankhede. When the ball stopped seaming, I played all my shots that I practice in the nets," said Suryakumar Yadav at the post-match presentation.
