Adil Rashid leaves Axar Patel clueless with an unplayable leg spin (File Photo: X)
Star India all-rounder Axar Patel had no answer when England’s Adil Rashid bowled an unplayable leg spin in the first ODI of the three-match series. The moment came on the fourth ball of the 34th over during India’s run-chase of 249 runs when Axar Patel was looking well-settled, alongside vice-captain Shubman Gill.
Rashid came round the wicket, and his ball took an unbelievable turn to go between the leg and middle stump from the extreme off-stump region. It resulted in the end of Axar Patel’s brilliant 52-run knock off 47 balls, with six fours and a six.
The video of this amazing ball delivered by Adil Rashid to dismiss Axar Patel immediately went viral on social media as soon as a user shared it on X (formerly Twitter).
