Hardik Pandya is one of India's best all-rounders and has performed well in ICC tournaments. His presence in the team provides much-needed balance.

In the ongoing ODI match against England, he hit two back-to-back sixes against Adil Rashid but was bowled on the next delivery. With this wicket, Rashid completed his four-wicket haul in the match. It was a brilliant delivery—pitched around the leg stump, turning square to beat Pandya’s outside edge before crashing into the middle and off.

Pandya was batting on 17 runs off eight balls when he was dismissed. Overall, it was an outstanding innings by the Indian batters, who posted a total of 356 runs. Credit goes to Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer for their brilliant knocks. Gill scored 112 runs, while Iyer contributed 78.

Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of Champions Trophy 2025

Team India received a huge blow ahead of the Champions Trophy as Jaspirt Bumrah is ruled out of the tournament. Moreover, Harshit Rana is added in his place, who did well in the England series. Apart from this, Varun Chakaravarthy replaces Yashasvi Jaiswal in the tournament. India will miss Bumrah, as he is an asset to the team.

This time, Rohit Sharma will enter the field with a comparatively young bowling attack who have hardly played many games in the ODI. This is an important tournament where Mohammed Shami must guide the players throughout.
