During the final ODI between India and England, a massive mix-up happened where Virat Kohli was on the verge of getting run out in the seventh over of the game. Kohli, who is known to be a fast runner, hit the ball towards the mid-on and was already down the track to take the run, but Gill was on the non-striker's crease and refused for the run.

As the ball was in the fielder's hand, Kohli had to rush back before reaching the wicketkeeper. The on-field umpire went up to the third umpire to check whether it was a runout or not. Kohli got lucky there as he went back in time. After a really long time, Kohli hit the balls with confidence, scoring 52 runs off 55 balls, including seven boundaries and one six.

Adil Rashid dismissed him for the 5th time in ODIs. The 36-year-old batter misread the flight delivery on the stumps, which drifted in and then went away, deceiving the batter. The ball just touched Kohli's bat, and minimum noise was produced. The batter didn't wait for the umpire's decision and went away as he knew it hit the bat.

I thought Bumrah’s absence will force selectors to pick Siraj: Aakash Chopra

Former English cricketer Aakash Chopra expressed his views on dropping Mohammed Siraj and bringing in Hashit Rana in place of Jasprit Bumrah. India's ace pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, is ruled out of the Champions Trophy 2025 due to a back injury. Also, Yashasvi Jaiswal is out of the tournament, and Varun Chakaravarthy is coming in his place.

"I thought Bumrah’s absence will force selectors to pick Siraj. Have 4 pacers in the squad. It’s also interesting to note how quickly the plan to play Yashasvi in the XI ahead of Iyer is abandoned…to the extent that Yashasvi isn’t even a part of the CT squad," wrote Aakash Chopra on Twitter.
