The RCB batting stalwart, Virat Kohli and the veteran wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul happened to be the central figures in the DC vs RCB clash, the 46th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025. At first, it happened when both the stars indulged in an animated conversation with each other in the second innings during RCB’s run chase, when Kohli was batting there in the middle and KL Rahul was behind the wickets for his side.

Second, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul stole the limelight after the match ended, and RCB won by 6 wickets. It all started when Kohli mimicked KL Rahul’s ‘this is my ground’ celebration in front of the latter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. However, the conversation was not clear so far, but now the hilarious conversation between two cricketing superstars is revealed.

Virat Kohli was seen explaining his plans to celebrate RCB’s wins if he had gone unbeaten in the end, to which KL Rahul hilariously replied, “Achha hua out ho gaya (good, you got out).”

Virat Kohli creates history in IPL 

Virat Kohli also reached the top of the list of the ‘leading run-scorers’ in the ongoing IPL 2025, with his match-winning 51-run knock against DC to help RCB win by 6 wickets. He also won the orange cap after the game, being the leading run-scorer in the tournament. However, he has been surpassed by GT’s Sai Sudharsan in today’s game against RR.

Currently, Kohli is the second leading run-scorer in the tournament, with 443 runs in 10 innings, including three unbeaten appearances and a brilliant batting average of 63.28. He has also scored six half-centuries, most by any batter in the ongoing IPL 2025.

Virat Kohli also created history with his 51-run knock against DC. He has now become the only batter in the history of the Indian Premier League who has scored 400+ runs in different IPL seasons.
