Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Virat Kohli was spotted coming out of the Chennai Airport with the rest of the team members on March 24 as cricket fans were seen cheering him with loud cheers. The modern-day batting master was seen wearing a red T-shirt with black pants and a white cap and was seen boarding the team bus near the airport.
The stylish right-handed batter played a crucial role in guiding RCB to win the opening thriller against defending champions KKR during the tournament's opening clash. That night kicked off with the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan calling him onto the stage of the mega event as they both shook a leg to the song of his movie Pathaan.

West Indies power hitter Sunil Narine hammered 44 off 26 balls, featuring five boundaries and three sixes, while skipper Ajinkya Rahane made 56 off 31 balls, featuring six boundaries and four towering sixes. After them, Angkrish Raghuvanshi also chipped in 30 off 22 balls to help KKR post a defendable total.
In chasing, Virat Kohli stayed unbeaten as the star batter made 59 off 36 balls, featuring four boundaries and three sixes alongside England star batter Phil Salt. Skipper Rajat Patidar also chipped in 34 off 16 balls and stitched the stand with Virat Kohli to help RCB chase down the total in just 16.2 overs with seven wickets in hand.
