Nicholas Pooran is one of the best batters in T20 cricket. While his record in T20Is is not as great as that in some of the major T20 leagues like the IPL, he is among the best six-hitters even in international cricket. The Southpaw has 149 sixes to his name in 97 innings, which is the fifth-most for a batter, as of October 2025.

Suryakumar Yadav (150 sixes in 86 innings)

Suryakumar Yadav surpassed Nicholas Pooran with his batting in the first T20I of the 2025 series against Australia at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. Although the match was called off, Suryakumar became the batter with the fourth most number of sixes in T20Is. In 86 innings in T20Is, the middle-order batter has hit 150 sixes.

Jos Buttler (172 sixes in 132 innings)

Jos Buttler is one of the most versatile batters in the history of T20 cricket. He has been a finisher, an opener, and even a middle-order batter for England and different teams in T20 leagues. The right-handed batter has the third most sixes in the history of T20Is. In 132 innings, the 2022 T20 World Cup-winning captain has 172 sixes to his name.

Martin Guptill (173 sixes in 118 innings)

Martin Guptill was one of the leading run-scorers and six-hitters in T20Is till his retirement. The right-handed batter was at his prime before the pandemic and was known for his ability to clear the boundaries with ease. Even after retiring from T20Is, Guptill has the second most sixes for a batter from the Test-playing teams. He has 173 sixes in 118 innings, which is a testament to his six-hitting abilities.

Rohit Sharma (205 sixes in 151 innings)

Rohit Sharma is the undisputed leader in the list of batters with the most sixes in T20Is. The 2024 T20 World Cup-winning skipper retired from the format after winning his second major T20 title. Yet, no batter is close to his tally of sixes in the format. In 151 innings, he has 205 sixes, whuch is 32 more than the second best in the list.
