The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is arriving sooner than ever and will be starting on June 2. While the West Indies and the USA will be hosting the event, this is the first time an international tournament will be held in American countries. The players will be extremely enthusiastic to play on US soil for the very first time as there will be drop-in pitches, specially made for the tournament. The tournament will start on June 2 and will end on June 9, in West Indies.
This time the tournament capacity has increased from just 10 teams to 20 teams. There are four groups with five teams each which will play one game against each other in the group. After that, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 8 which will be played as a knockout round.
