Pakistan's embarrassing performance against England is the talk of the town. After scoring 556 runs in the first innings, they went on to lose the 1st Test by an innings and 47 runs. The class act shown by the English team was commendable. They outplayed Pakistan and beat them in their home ground, which was upsetting for the hosts. Since Pakistan lost the home series against Bangladesh, they have been under the radar of all former cricketers who have been bashing the team.

Former cricketer Kamran Akmal rose to the occasion and called the Pakistan team a 'locality team' as their performance has dripped extensively. Akmal said, "The world must be amazed by the way Pakistan lost. Nobody will believe this. Pakistan side has become a locality team. Even the club team doesn't perform like this. This is the current standard of our team."

The frustration didn't stop as he kept on bashing them for not playing perfectly against big teams like England and Australia. Bangladesh aren't a big team but they managed to clean sweep the Test series in Pakistan. This is the reason the entire country is in anger. "We win against small teams but can't even get close to big teams. The whole world is laughing at the Pakistan team," added Akmal.

England scored a mammoth 823 runs in 1st innings against Pakistan

Joe Root and Harry Brook slammed double and triple centuries respectively in the first innings against Pakistan which was beyond imagination. The way they batted for two days straight was commendable. Their batting revealed quite a lot of things, including their spirit for the game and the fitness level they carry. While Brook is a young player, being 33 years old, Root showed a class act with the bat.

He missed his triple century, which was anticipated by the way he played, but Brook went on to score the triple century and became the fastest Englishman to score a triple century. He is only the second Englishman to score 300+ runs in Test cricket.
