The fourth game of the five-match T20I series between India and England moved to Pune. Jos Buttler and his side won the previous game in Rajkot by 26 runs. India were put into bat after the English skipper won the toss. It was a huge toss to win for the touring side considering dew is expected to play a key role in the second half of the game.

England made two changes to their side as Jacob Bethell replaced Jamie Smith who walked off injured in Rajkot. The other change saw Saqib Mahmood come in for pacer Mark Wood. If England wins the game the final match in Mumbai will turn into a decider.

Team India made three changes to their team from their previous match in Rajkot on Tuesday. Pacer Arshdeep Singh was back in place of Mohammed Shami while Washington Sundar was replaced by Shivam Dube. Rinku Singh who passed fit on the eve of the game replaced Dhruv Jurel in the playing XI.

Massive game for both sides in Pune

Jos Buttler seemed happy after winning the toss as he said “We are gonna bowl first this evening. It feels like a great atmosphere already, the series is nicely set-up. Very happy with that performance, we have areas to improve but happy to get the win. Little bit unsure about what total to chase to be the honest with the dew, if it will come in or not”

Suryakumar Yadav said “ It is all about coming here and playing good brand of cricket. Stick to the basics. We have left that game in Rajkot. Hopefully we put up an entertaining show for this crowd. Little bit on the drier, put runs on the board and defend”

The focus will be on Sanju Samson who has been woefully short of form in the first three matches. The 30-year-old has been troubled by the pace of Jofra Archer which has led to his dismissal to the England pacer on each occasion. Even Suryakumar Yadav is under pressure to perform having scored 26 runs from the first three matches.

India XI - Sanju Samson (WK), Abhishek Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav (C), Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Varun Chakravarthy

England XI - Philip Salt (WK), Ben Duckett, Jos Buttler (C), Harry Brook, Liam Livingstone, Jacob Bethell, Jamie Overton, Brydon Carse, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, Saqib Mahmood.
