After a terrific performance in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, Australia is set to play in the second tournament stage, the Super 8. Along with India, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh, Australia is in Group 1. Mitchell Marsh-led team showed dominance in the shortest format of the game by winning four back-to-back matches and qualifying for the Super 8.

They defeated England, Scotland, Namibia, and Oman in the qualification process. Now, they'll play against the teams present in group 1 to qualify for the semifinals. Considering the team the Aussies have, it looks like they'll easily qualify. However, India and Afghanistan had a great tournament so far and won't let the Men in Yellow qualify easily.

The 2nd stage of the World Cup will be held in the West Indies, where the pitches will be slow and will favour the bowlers, especially spinners. Since Australia has a few handy spinners, they won't be worried about how the pitches will react. Moreover, Australia and South Africa are the only teams so far to have won all the games played in this edition of the World Cup.

Australia's Complete Super-8 Schedule

The Men in Yellow will start their Super 8 by playing against Bangladesh on June 21. All of their matches will be played in the West Indies. They will be playing at three different locations in all three matches, which is a hectic task. However, since it's Australia, they may easily pull off some great games.
