India's skipper Rohit Sharma is known as a forgetful person who often misplace his belongings and forgets about it. He has also been seen forgetting team combinations during toss time. Rohit's forgetfulness has also been noticeable in his interactions with the media. He frequently uses phrases like 'yeh kar do' (do this) and 'woh kar do' (do that) during interviews. Even during the meeting with PM Narendra Modi after winning the T20 World Cup 2024, Rohit was seen struggling to find the right words to express himself.

In the recently uploaded video by BCCI, Indian Cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir was in a conversation with former Indian skipper Virat Kohli where Rohit's topic came up. Gambhir said, "So Virat, the next guest is Rohit. What do you want me to ask? What would be the first question to Rohit?"

Kohli laughed and said, "I think it is a very simple question for Rohit ki subah bheege badaam khaate ho ya nahi? (do you eat water-soaked almonds in the morning?)" Kohli and Rohit share a good relationship with each other, and the leg-pulling session goes on quite frequently.

The legendary duo will be back in action against Bangladesh in the 2-match Test series, starting on September 19 in Chennai. Along with Kohli and Rohit, even Jasprit Bumrah is set to return to cricket ahead of the jampacked schedule in the upcoming months.

It depends on the workload that has been carried by them in these games: Rohit Sharma

During the press conference ahead of the Bangladesh series, skipper Rohit talked about the workload and injuries of bowlers due to the lined up series. After Bangladesh, India will play against New Zealand and Australia, which are going to be tough games where bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj will come handy. Hence, Rohit clarified that the bowlers would get ample breaks after getting proper tips from the management.

"It depends on the workload that has been carried by them in these games. We will monitor them like did against England where we rested Jasprit Burmah and Mohammed Siraj. The right time to give break to players will be decided by the physios and management," said Rohit Sharma during the press conference.
