The former spinner also mentioned Bumrah’s impact on India’s historic title win in the T20 World Cup 2024 and in the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2025 despite the team’s defeat in the series.

‘One hundred per cent, we all know what kind of player he is with the way he performed in the T20 World Cup, the way he delivered in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. We all know what he is capable of. So, if he is not around, it will be a big blow,” said Piyush Chawla to Sports.info.

Furthermore, Chawla was also asked about the prediction of the four semi-finalists out of the eight participating teams in the ninth edition of the Champions Trophy.
