Former Indian star batter Shikhar Dhawan was in the news on Saturday for announcing his retirement. It was an emotional moment for the massive Indian fan base after the news was made public by Shikhar Dhawan himself via video message.
Shikhar Dhawan was asked to two name an actor who he would love to see essay his role if a Biopic was made on his life. The former Indian batter replied that he would love to see either Akshay Kumar or Ranveer Singh play him on the big screen.

Akshay Kumar extended his support to Shikhar Dhawan during the lowest phase of his life. The Bollywood actor had penned a heartfelt note where he expressed his pain of not being able to meet or see his son Zoravar since his divorce.

Moments after he announced his retirement, Shikhar Dhawan spoke to Hindustan Times and said “Zoraver is 11 now. I hope he gets to know about my retirement and all about my cricket journey. But more than as a cricketer, I would like for Zoraver to remember me as a good human being who does good deeds and brings positivity to people around him."
