The six teams are: Durban's Super Giants, Joburg Super Kings, MI Cape Town, Paarl Royals, Pretoria Capitals, and Sunrisers Eastern Cape. The teams will play against each other twice, making sure to remain in the top four positions to qualify for the playoffs. From there, the top two teams will play Qualifier 1, and the winner will go to the finals directly.

However, the third and fourth teams will have to play Eliminator, and the winner will meet the loser of Qualifier 1. Then, the winner of Qualifier 2 will face the winner of Qualifier 1 in the finals.
