Cricket fans will also have their eyes on the ten IPL teams that have to submit their retention list with 31st October being the last date.

Rohit Sharma’s car was spotted outside the Mumbai Indians office. There is a picture doing the rounds on social media. The 37-year-old blue Lamborghini Urus was spotted in the parking lot of the five time champions.

There is a lot of speculation regarding the future of the former Mumbai Indians skipper ahead of the IPL 2025 auctions. With the retention and RTM rules now known, Mumbai Indians fans will be keenly watching the proceedings.

AB De Villiers wants to see Rohit Sharma in RCB colors

Hardik Pandya’s return to MI ahead of IPL 2024 saw the Indian star being given the captaincy role. This move caused a huge friction in the MI fanbase as the team faced a lot of criticism. IPL 2024 turned out to be a dismal season for the 5 time IPL winners as they finished bottom of the table.

Former South African and Royal Challengers Bengaluru stalwart AB De Villiers hoped that Rohit will move to RCB for the coming season. The former Proteas star speaking on his YouTube channel though also said that Rohit leaving MI isn’t a huge possibility.

AB De Villiers said “That will be quite a story if Rohit moves from Mumbai Indians to RCB. Wow! Imagine the headlines. It will be bigger than Hardik Pandya’s move. He moved from Gujarat Titans to Mumbai Indians which although wasn’t big a surprise”

The former RCB star batter also said “oh my god! I don’t think there is an option there. I do not see a possibility of MI leaving Rohit. Will give that zero or 0.1 percent chance. o be honest, there hasn’t been many conversations about Rohit’s future at all. I spoke to him last night or the night before, just to do a little review of the season. For me, he’s a master of his destiny. It’s a big auction next season. Who knows what’s going to happen? We’ll just have to take each day as it comes,”
