Veer opened up on his life-changing moment and claimed that he always wished to play for CSK under MS Dhoni.
Prashant claimed that he would let the family to decide on what to do about his money. "I always wanted to play for CSK especially under MS Dhoni. He too bats lower down the order like me, I had wished that whenever auction happens, I should go to CSK - My family will decide what to do with the money. God heard my prayers," Prashant said.

Prashant's father opened up on his son's big moment and noted that it's a dream for every cricketer to play in the IPL. He claimed that his son has been very good at cricket and had also played Football.
"It's not about the money," - Prashant Veer's father
"It is a dream of every cricketer to play the IPL, and now his dream has been fulfilled... He has always been very good at the sport. He was also good at football. All the efforts and hard work have been done by Prashant; we just helped him financially and emotionally to get there," Veer's father said.

Prashant's father was more happy that his son would play with MS Dhoni, than the money he earned. "It's not about the money. The main thing is that he has gone to his favourite team. He always wanted to play with MS Dhoni and now he has got this opportunity," Prashant's father added.
