South Africa were set at 106 runs to win the first Test match in Mirpur by the Bangladeshi side. The home team resumed the day at 287/7 with Mehidy Hasan Miraz batting on 87 and Nayeem Hasan on 10. It took the visitors just 4.5 overs to wrap up the innings as 20 runs were added to the overnight score.

Kagiso Rabada picked 6/46 from 17.5 overs to go with his 3/26 from the first innings for a match haul of 9/72. Mehidy Hasan Miraz was unlucky to miss out on scoring a ton as he was out for 97. His knock came off 191 balls with the help of 10 fours and a six.

Bangladesh had to win the game to keep their hopes alive of making it to the finals of the World Test Championships. For South Africa, this will be a huge win, as Aiden Markram and his side have dominated with the bat and ball so far in this game.

Kagiso Rabada leads the charge with the ball once again
