New Zealand beat Zimbabwe by an innings and 359 runs in the second Test, which is their biggest win. Zakary Foulkes and Matt Henry were the pick of the bowlers for the WTC Final 2021 winners. Devon Conway, Will Young, Henry Nicholls, and Rachin Ravindra batted well for New Zealand and ensured a win by an innings.

Zimbabwe batted first and scored just 125 runs before getting dismissed in 48.5 overs. Henry and Foulkes ran through the Zimbabwean batting lineup and claimed 5 and 4 wickets each. Due to Brendan Taylor's 44 and Tsiga's 33, Zimbabwe managed to score over 100 runs, which seemed difficult the way New Zealand bowlers dominated the home side.

In reply to it, the visiting side batted extremely well and gave the home side absolutely no chance to win the match. Four of the five Kiwi batters batted long enough and scored a lot of runs. It started with Devon Comway and Will Young at the top, who framed a partnership of 162 for the first wicket.

While Young perished after 74(101), Conway continued and scored 153(245). He framed a partnership of 73 and 110 for the second and third wickets with Jacob Duffy and Henry Nicholls, respectively. Following the dismissal of the Southpaw, nothing went right for the home side.

New Zealand was clearly on top of Zimbabwe, thanks to a brilliant 256-run stand for thr fourth wicket between Nicholls and Rachin Ravindra, who remained unbeaten at 150*(245) and 165*(139), respectively, which helped NZ post 601/3 before declaring their innings.

The visiting side did not need much time to dismiss the home side in the second innings. Foulkes' fifer helped NZ dismiss Zimbabwe for just 117 in the second innings and register a win by an innings and 359 runs, their biggest in Tests.
