MS Dhoni, the former Indian team captain, popularly known as the ‘Captain Cool’, has always been a sensible and down-to-earth personality. In a recent adorable video that is making rounds in the social media platforms, Captain Cool was seen grooming his pet dog with his daughter Ziva.

Ziva was seen helping her father with her tiny hands and meanwhile, the former captain was brushing and grooming their furry companion. The video beautifully captures the calm and composed nature of Dhoni, which used to be a very pleasing sight to watch in the cricket field. The clip showed the pet being playful and joyful, while Dhoni displayed his fatherly side. The clip was shared, can undoubtedly be titled as the ‘Cutest video of the Day.’

Dhoni shares his candid opinion on PR and Social Media

In a recent interaction, Dhoni also shared his views and opened up about his ideologies on PR and social media. Debuting in the year 2004, Dhoni has witnessed the social media grow manifold. He has seen the pros and cons along with the kind of influence social media has on the general public. Regarding this, he believes that the interest and skills of the game should be the sole decider of popularity and there is no need of additional PR or social media influence.  

During the Eurogrip Tred Talks, Dhoni said, “I have never been a big fan of social media. Throughout, I have had so many managers and all of them keep pushing. I started playing in 2004; Twitter got popular later on, after which Instagram came in. All the managers told me, ‘You should do some PR, build this and build that’. I had the same answer that if you play good cricket, you don’t need PR.”

The former Indian captain is about to embark on the upcoming IPL chapter, which is going to be his 18th IPL edition as he was retained by Chennai Super Kings.
