MS Dhoni files criminal case against ex-business partner for INR 15 crore fraud

MS Dhoni, the former India and CSK captain, has filed a criminal case against his ex-business partner Mihir Diwakar for defrauding him by using his name to establish a sports academy in Jaipur. Diwakar is booked by the Jaipur police under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, and 120B. 

According to a report, a case was filed against Aarka Sports Management Pvt Ltd where Miher Diwakar is a director of the firm along with Soumya Das. Moreover, Dhoni had filed the complaint in the District Court Ranchi. Diwakar committed a fraud of INR 15 crore, which came under Dhoni's notice and hence, he filed a criminal case. 

Diwakar was fooling people around him in the name of the legendary keeper and claimed that he was working in partnership with Dhoni to provide franchises to MS Dhoni Sports Academy. Dhoni clearly mentioned to the police that he had strictly asked Diwakar to not use his name, however, he didn't listen. He used the cricketer's name for personal gains which landed him in jail.

MS Dhoni has never failed to amaze his fans when it comes to cricket. Starting from taking an unannounced retirement from cricket, to handing over the captaincy of the CSK franchise to Ruturaj Gaikwad, Dhoni has always made decisions which have shocked the cricket fraternity. This year, MS is playing in the IPL as a non-captain and letting Ruturaj handle everything. 

Moreover, he is also keeping himself away from captaincy decisions and instructing the players to talk to Ruturaj whenever needed. However, one thing which remains constant is Dhoni's way of making his fans happy. In the match against KKR, when CSK needed just three runs to win, he came out to bat. This gesture was loved by the fans and they cheered for him like there's no tomorrow.
