List of all teams to have qualified for T20 World Cup 2026

• Zimbabwe and Namibia qualified for the T20 World Cup 2026 through the African Qualifiers

Zimbabwe and Namibia qualified for the T20 World Cup 2026 through the African Qualifiers. 8 teams had qualified for the tournament by the virtue of their qualification for the Super 10 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024. 17 teams have officially qualified with three spots left in the Asia-EAP Qualifier groups.

Eight teams that qualified for the Super 10 stage of the T20 WC 2024 were India, Afghanistan, USA, Bangladesh, Australia, England, South Africa, and the West Indies. Teams like New Zealand, Ireland, and Pakistan qualified based on their rankings, while Sri Lanka made it to the tournament on the virtue of being the joint hosts.

Following the first set of qualification process, the Qualifier round started, in which different continents were given different number of qualification spots. Teams from America, Europe, Africa, and Asia-Eastern Pacific regions had to fight amongst each other for spots in the tournament. While Europe, and Africa qualifiers had two spots for the grab each, the Asia EAP region has three spots for the grab.

Teams to have qualified through T20 World Cup Qualifiers

From Europe, Netherlands qualified as the top team in the Qualifiers. In a historic moment, Italy qualified for the tournament for the first time in its history. From the American region, Canada officially qualified and made it to the second consecutive T20 World Cup. The latest entrants to the tournament are from the African region.

After failing to qualify in 2024, Zimbabwe made it to the tournament in the Qualifiers. Likewise, Namibia qualified by topping the group Qualifiers. The Asia EAP Qualifying process is underway, in which three teams will make the cut. It will be decided in the next three months or so.
