Prudential World Cup 1983 - Roger Binny (18 wickets)

Roger Binny was not just India's leading wicket-taker, but was also the highest wicket-taker of the tournament. The right-arm medium pacer claimed 18 wickets in 8 innings at an average of 18.66 and was even handy as a batter lower down the order.

ICC Champions Trophy 2002 - Zaheer Khan (8 wickets)

Zaheer Khan was India's best bowler in their Champions Trophy shared win in 2002. The left-arm pacer was the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament, along with Glenn McGrath. The former Indian pacer claimed 8 wickets in 5 innings at an average of 24.88.

ICC World T20 2007 - RP Singh (12 wickets)

RP Singh played a key role in India's win in the T20 World Cup in 2007. The left-arm pacer claimed 12 wickets in 6 innings, at an average of just 12.66. He was India's leading wicket-taker and the second highest wicket-taker of the tournament.

ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2011 - Zaheer Khan (21 wickets)

Zaheer Khan played a massive role in another of India's win in the ODI World Cup in 2011. He took 21 wickets in 9 innings at an average of 18.76. Along with Shahid Afridi, he finished the tournament as the joint leading wicket-taker.

ICC Champions Trophy 2013 - Ravindra Jadeja (12 wickets)

Ravindra Jadeja was not just the leading wicket-taker for India, but ended the tournament as the highest wicket-taker among all teams. The left-arm orthodox spinner claimed 12 wickets in 5 innings at an average of just 12.83, including the Player of the Match award in the final.

ICC World T20 2024 - Arshdeep Singh (17 wickets)

Arshdeep Singh was the joint leading wicket taker of the tournament alongside Fazalhaq Farooqi. The left-arm pacer claimed 17 wickets in 8 innings at a great average of 12.64.

Varun Chakravarthy and Mohammed Shami were the joint leading wicket-takers for India in the Champions Trophy in 2025. While Chakravarthy claimed 9 wickets in just 3 innings at an average of just 15.11, Shami took 9 wickets in 5 innings at an average of 25.88.
