Shah Rukh Khan is known for his passionate love for cricket as he is always seen travelling around to support his team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). In the 28th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, KKR played against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) where Shah Rukh Khan drew the limelight towards himself after he picked up a KKR flag which was fallen on the ground.

This small gesture by him won the hearts of the fans and the video shared on social media went viral. The viewers from both teams praised him for the love and respect he has for his team and were happy with the gesture made by him.

KKR won their fourth match of the season against LSG quite comfortably and maintained their 2nd position in the points table ahead of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and below Rajasthan Royals (RR). The three teams are playing incredibly and might be the first teams to qualify for the playoffs if they continue to perform well.

'We executed phenomenally well...' - KKR Skipper Shreyas Iyer happy with team's performance

KKR Skipper is quite happy with the team's performance during the match against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). They won the match by eight wickets with five overs to spare as they chased down a target of 162. The collective performance was quite commendable from the team and seems like they are in full mood to take the trophy home this year.

"Pretty much comprehensive victory. Fielded well and bowled well. Was important to bowl slower ones as much as possible because of the heat and the wicket becoming dry. We executed phenomenally well. When we got wickets, it gave us the advantage to come in and put an attacking effort," said Shreyas at the post-match presentation.
