Speaking of the friendship bond between Harbhajan Singh and Parthiv Patel, both former cricketers were part of the Indian squad in the ODI World Cup 2003 in South Africa. Later, they also went on to play together for the Indian Premier League franchise and the five-time champions, Mumbai Indians. They were part of the MI squad for three seasons from IPL 2015 to IPL 2017.

In the recent line of events, the former World Champion off-spinner Harbhajan Singh also spoke about the struggling run of form of the two Indian batting stalwarts, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. The turbanator backed both the stars to make a strong comeback in the Champions Trophy 2025.

“Virat and Rohit haven't scored as many runs as expected, given their past performances. The expectations are high, and when they fall short, criticism is natural. However, with the Champions Trophy ahead, they have a great opportunity to showcase their abilities and prove how they can still win matches for India. If they don't succeed, naturally, the young players waiting in the wings will start getting more opportunities. But I still believe both have plenty of cricket left in them--they are highly capable players who can still score runs,” said Harbhajan Singh to ANI.
