Virat Kohli's problem with the off-stump is known to the entire world now. Even a newcomer knows Kohli struggles with the outside off-stump ball, and he isn't taking out any solution for that. Hence, former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar gave solid advice to Kohli before the 3rd Test match. Gavaskar remembered Sachin Tendulkar's dedication and the way he played in Sydney, having extreme control over his batting.

"What Sachin Tendulkar did in Sydney? He was getting outside the off-stump in his previous three Test matches. He was getting out in the covers and slips. He didn’t play a single cover drive. He only played towards mid-off and mid-on and went on to score 241. Just keep control on yourself, that ‘I am not going to play there [off stump line]’," said Sunil Gavaskar.

Kohli has been dismissed on the outside off deliveries several times in the series, and hence, has to have the necessary control on him in the upcoming games to score more runs. He is an extraordinary batter, and with his help, India can actually win the game.

He knows exactly where to bowl to Virat Kohli: Mohammed Kaif

Mohammed Kaif, India's former cricketer, bashed Virat Kohli for his weakness in playing against outside off-stump balls. This match will also be difficult for Rohit Sharma as well since he hasn't performed in a while. Both players will have to come out of their comfort zone and perform well to help India win the upcoming matches.

"A bowler like Boland who plays only two-three Test matches in a year... He comes, he knows exactly where to bowl to Virat Kohli. Just pith it outside the off stump, Kohli will fiddle with it. He will nick it and get out caught behind. This is an open secret," said Mohammed Kaif.
