Jemimah Rodrigues played a key role in India's massive win over Australia Women in the Semifinal of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025. The Indian batter scored an unbeaten 127*(134), helping the Indian Women's team to qualify for the final of the tournament. However, it hasn't been an easy journey for the star batter in the tournament, as she opened up about her mental challenges and anxiety.

After her great batting performance in the record run chase, Jemimah spoke about her mindset in the match. Given that she got to her hundred, the question was asked about her special moment, for which she did not celebrate at all.

Jemimah claimed that she was not thinking about her personal milestone, and her only focus was to take India home, given the team's multiple losses in clutch situations. "I wasn’t thinking about my fifty or the hundred; I just wanted to take India home because we’ve lost many matches from clutch situations," Rodrigues said after her knock.

In her stay in the middle, the right-handed batter scored an unbeaten 127*(134) and successfully took India home to win the Player of the Match Award. Rodrigues was instrumental in India's win. However, with her own admission, it has been a challenging period for her mentally.

The Indian No.3 claimed to have cried a lot during the tournament. She added that she had not been in a good mental space and hinted at anxiety issues. "I have cried every day through this tour. I wasn't doing well mentally, dealt with a lot of anxiety," Rodrigues added.
